OpenPoint’s 1.08.1029.1 release includes several new feature updates for OpenPoint Web. The changes are now in your production website. Here is the list of changes:
- Three new fields were added to the electric and water meter search screens: Meter number, location number (AKA account number) and Address. These will only search within the specific field and wildcards will work so you can search at the beginning, end or middle of the field.
- All search screens have a new button called “Reset Criteria” which clears out the search criteria.
- Customer imports can be handled separately without importing meter data.
- Custom text field 1 will show up on the Electric Meter Overview screen if populated.
- On the Job Attributes screen in OpenPoint Web, certain fields can now be modified after the Job has been closed.
- A new screen called Dropdowns has been added which allows many of the dropdown lists throughout OpenPoint Map and Web to be modified that are already covered in the Component section. You must be an administrator to access it. Here’s a video showing how this works: https://youtu.be/stPYnr280Ic
- Role-based security was implemented throughout OpenPoint Web and will be added to OpenPoint Map during the next release. Here’s a video explaining the new access roles and how to modify a user’s access: https://youtu.be/if9ZHOEo6ec
- When a Job is CPR closed, it will now check to see if the retirement unit prices changed. If so, a warning will be presented, and you will have the option to continue or cancel.
- When rolling back a job, the status date and status by fields are cleared out for the previous status. For example, when rolling back from GL Updated to Transacted, the GL Updated Date and GL Updated By are cleared out.
