Document Attachment Size Increased

One of our most requested changes to the OpenPoint platform in recent months has been to increase the file size attachment limit. I'm happy to announce we just increased the file size limit to 20 MB. We're hoping this new limit will meet everyone's needs.

We're definitely pleased to see the increased use of the document attachment feature. We encourage all of our utility clients to stop keeping paper documents and go digital. And, if you're already digital, then get your scanned documents, spreadsheets, Word documents, PDFs, etc. into a searchable database.

When a document is attached to a record in OpenPoint, it becomes much easier to find later and will be associated to other related documents keeping your documents well organized.

We also just added support for CAD files with a .DWG or .DXF extension. These are common file formats used for engineering diagrams.

If you haven't worked with document attachments in OpenPoint, please feel free to contact us anytime to learn more or get training.
